Terms and conditions

  1. Deposits are non-refundable.
  2. If you are pregnant, please do not enrol on a practical course until 4 months after the birth of your baby.
  3. Payments for the Massage Introductory Weekend Part 1 or Part 2 are non-refundable but the booking is transferrable if 21 days written notice is given.
  4. If a transfer has been requested the payment will be held and must be used within 6 months before it is forfeit.
  5. Payments for the Post Graduate Workshops are non-refundable.
  6. Balance payments are due 14 days before the start date of your course.
  7. If booking within 14 days of the course start date, full payment will be required and is non-refundable or transferable.
  8. Massage Introductory Course Part 1 or Part 2 – In the event of a student’s failure to attend this course, for whatever reason, no transfer or refund will be offered.
  9. The LCM reserves the right to cancel courses due to under subscription and to offer places for a later date.
  10. The LCM reserves the right to change tutors or venue if necessary.
  11. Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology Online Course:- If you feel you are exempt from the A&P course (because of prior learning) and request to just sit our exams, a fee of £30 per exam is payable. You will also be required to complete the online Pathology module (£49.99).
  12. Online Courses – Are provided by ETS. Payments will be made directly to them. If you have any queries about payments or any technical issues or problems accessing your course, please contact them directly on 01604 839 016.
  13. Duration of training - There should be no more than 9 months between the Part 2 Weekend and starting the Practitioners Course. Thereafter you will be required to re-take Part 2 to ensure you are ready to progress.
  14. Gift Vouchers - 1) Are valid for 6 months and are redeemable against in house massage courses NOT online courses. 2) The vouchers must be redeemed via our website as full or part payment for courses. 3) The voucher cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash. 4) Any unused vouchers will be cancelled on expiry of the validity period.
  15. If a payment plan has been agreed between the LCM and a student and the student fails to complete the course any outstanding course fees will still be payable.
  16. Students must commit themselves to attend all classes and in the case of unavoidable circumstances, make arrangements for private tuition.
  17. Non-attendance is very disruptive to fellow students as each group works in pair’s, therefore the College reserves the right to expel without refund any student missing two or more classes.
  18. In the circumstances of a student failing to complete a course no refund will be made.
  19. In the circumstances of the LCM requesting a student to leave a course other than (16.) the LCM will refund the students remaining balance.
  20. Prior to enrolment, please inform the LCM of any physical or mental ailment, past or present that you think might affect your study. This is important, if you are dyslexic, partially sighted or suffer from dyspraxia etc. please let us know. We need time to arrange additional support to help you with your studies.
  21. Fees cover registration, all course tuition, examination fees and manuals where appropriate, provision of base carrier oils and the use of massage tables.
  22. All course materials provided are solely for your personal, non-commercial use and may not be copied, reproduced, republished, modified, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, including by e-mail or other electronic means, without the express prior written consent of the London College of Massage in each instance.
